I need to start a scrim server for Tx2 by this sunday that let's me play in game on my own server, so dedication or terminal I don't think would work. Would a no dedication server show up in the master server list?
I am also aiming to start up a public server running B3 soon (cple mnts) I will ask bout that later!
Any Ideas on how this would work?
(just to let you know, I am a noob with server config and I am not a mac user, I need to set it up on friends mac!)
Thanks sooo much for any replies!

erm..
I usually using this way...
open your terminal..
And type
/Applications/UrbanTerror/ioUrbanTerror.app/Contents/MacOS/ioUrbanTerror.ub +set dedicated 2 +exec server.cfg
But make sure, you did modified in the server.cfg
Like server name , gametype or else..
After you type , click ENTER..
After you click enter , the iourbanterror at the dock will be freeze..
That mean your server is running...
You can run two or higher iourbanterror in one time..
with
applications>urbanterror>iourbanterror.app>right click on it>show package contents>contents>Macos>iourbanterror.ub>open with terminal.
You can place iourbanterror.ub on your desktop too..
At the left Trash...Btw Dont quit the server,Find your server on local server..
Good luck
sory for my bad english XD

Woho, finally I got it working! Si for now it's only Local. Could it be also set as "Internet"?

Check this guide: http://dailynade.com...erver-on-a-mac/
To make it work for the internet and make it work as a public server you need to correctly forward your ports. Then check in the console if it correctly sends heartbeats to the master server.

Yeah, I've read this...Thank you. Unfortunately my router isn't in this List. So, I can't get my Server running on "Internet"!
That's so fkn with this Game! In every other Game you just Click StartServer and everything is done. That really pisses off!

k scratch that.
Everythings good except for a couple of things. Firstly, after I add the zero on the end (192.168.0.10) and did all the stuff www.portforward.com said for Quake3, I tried to do the ip thing and well, when I do that, I can't connect to the internet so I'm stuck in a loop!
